My New Project

I have started a new web site to further the cause of treating the Stingrays at Stingray City, Grand Cayman in a more responsible manner. The site speaks for itself.

check it out http://www.stingraycity.org

Let me know what you think. Please.

Weather Turning

It's Monday and we have had a weekend of brochure perfect weather. That is the good news the bad news is that it was the calm before a cold front moves through which it is doing today. There will be some disappointed cruise ship passengers as the winds and seas are out of the south west and the ships could not get into harbor today. They had to bypass Cayman. I know many people choose the cruise they do just to get to Stingray City, I feel sorry for them but I guess they will have to take another cruise and do it then.

The Cancer Society had their annual walk/run fundraiser this weekend they had over 1,000 people register. A great turnout for a great cause. I don't think I have ever been anywhere that the people do such a great job of supporting local charities.

Great to be in Cayman. Come visit.

Christmas Day.

Well it is Christmas day and no cruise ships in port. This is by plan the ships are turned away December 25th so that the island can celebrate the Holiday.

By the way the weather is fantastic. Sunny and about 85. Just the way it should be. Our sand is almost the cam color as snow and not as big a pain in the @##.

I will be joining the crew from the boat for a feast later in the day after that I guess it is just sitting around moaning from over eating. Ain't Christmas grand.

First Christmas for the Cayman Islands Crisis Center I have not talked to any of the staff today but they had big plans for the Clients and their children this morning. I am sure that it was a good Christmas for them. Maybe the first free of abuse for a long time.

I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday.

Help someone along the way!

Entering Christmas Week

It is cold and windy today the wind is about 20mph and the temperature is right now at 76F.

Those of you who were here last week were lucky we had calm seas at the sandbar and generally good weather. This coming week will be touch and go with the weather. As always our tourists saftey is number 1. Once that is covered then we take care of the fun part.

Yours truly was Santa on Saturday morning. This was for the annual fundraiser for the Cayman Islands Crisis Center. Fun was had by all. We do not know how much we cleared on the event. Hopefully a lot.

Again thanks to all who purchased Pictures from me it helps me live here in paradise. Till next time.
